After over 35 years of caring for little ones in the heart of Swansea, Treforys Tiny Tots has entered a new and exciting chapter — led by two familiar faces who know the nursery inside and out.

We’re delighted to officially introduce Lauren and Emma as the new owners of Treforys Tiny Tots. Both have been part of the nursery’s journey for many years and bring with them a genuine passion for early years education, a deep love for the children in our care, and a shared vision to take the nursery from strength to strength.

Why the Nursery Had to Be Re-Registered

As part of the recent management buyout (MBO), the nursery has undergone a formal change of ownership. This is a legal and regulatory process that ensures the new structure is recognised by all governing bodies, including CIW (Care Inspectorate Wales).

Because of this change, we have had to re-register Treforys Tiny Tots as a new provider, even though the team, staff, setting, and ethos all remain the same. This is a standard process in childcare takeovers and has been handled with the utmost care and professionalism.

Most importantly — the values, care, and familiar faces you know and trust remain at the heart of everything we do.

Between them, Lauren and Emma have over 25 years of experience in early years care and management. They’ve worked across every age group, led teams, supported families, and are already well-loved by children, staff, and parents alike.

They understand what makes Treforys Tiny Tots so special — and are committed to preserving its warm, family feel while also investing in fresh ideas, training, and resources to improve and grow.

With Lauren’s hands-on leadership in the childcare setting and Emma’s operational and business knowledge behind the scenes, the nursery is in very safe hands.
